Virgin Media customers get Sky Movies and Sky Sports on the go 5th August 2014 Virgin Media customers with Sky Movies or Sky Sports subscriptions can now log in to the Sky Movies and Sky Sports apps for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch and watch their Sky Movies and Sky Sports channels online using their Virgin Media accounts. Sky TV packages also come with their own on-demand streaming service, Sky Go. Like Virgin's TV Go, it's free to all Sky TV customers and can be used to watch on demand content on the customer's phone, tablet, or laptop. Good news for Virgin Media customers: Sky Ultra HD content is coming to Virgin TV. The two broadcasters have announced an extension of their existing content partnership, which sees Sky Cinema and Sky Sports content appear on Virgin TV, and revealed Ultra HD programmes will come to Virgin from 2020. As a Virgin customer you can not use Sky Go but should be able to use the Virgin app. This is because only Virgin Media customers in the Republic of Ireland can watch channels on the app. If you’re watching through WiFi, you won't need to do this. Go to the App Store to download the Sky Cinema app. (Not Sky Go, which is an app for Sky customers only.) 1. All installed and good to go? Now tap the Sky Cinema app icon.
