We have been a bit quiet this year, I know, which is ironic because we have had more happening internally than ever before. Our team has become bigger, our next release has become better, and we are eagerly awaiting 2021 when we can finally push version 3 out the door and resume a more regular update cycle.
Aeon Timeline’s story-arc view will need to combine both of these properties, which means that the perpendicular dimension will have two separate uses: it will be used to prevent collisions between events, and it will also be used to separate the events belonging to each story-arc. Aeon Timeline version 1.1 is free for all existing Aeon Timeline customers. This is a significant update that provides the following new functionality.
It has been a while coming, but we definitely think it will be worth the wait.
In addition, we will be participating in the WinterFest promotion again this year, so if you want to pick up some great new Mac software, checkout the details at the bottom of this email.

What’s coming in version 3?
We think the new version of Aeon Timeline is pretty exciting. Free download game wartune offlineselfieodd. It has been redesigned from scratch with a sleeker interface, new view types, faster workflows, and greater flexibility across the board.
Amongst hundreds of new features, we have added:
- A new Spreadsheet View for rapid data entry
- A new Narrative View to track a narrative structure independent of date order
- New Mindmap and Subway Views offer new brainstorming and visualisation options
- A clean new interface featuring Split Views and a better integration of existing elements such as Entity Lists, Search and Filter
- More flexible workflows: if you don’t want to think about dates initially, then don’t! Just create events without them.
- Better dependencies and constraints that don’t automatically tie events to exact dates and offsets
- A wider variety of starting templates that include many more relationship options (including event-to-event and person-to-person relationships)
- Syncing with Scrivener and Ulysses is more automated and encompasses your entire narrative structure.
- And much, much more than we can list right now…
You can help us make it happen
A small but dedicated group of beta testers has been working with the application for many months now as we polish off the final details, but we now need to scale up our testing to a wider variety of users ahead of the release.
By participating in the beta testing, you can help us: Idm 6.30 serial number.

Can/Should I still buy version 2?

Absolutely. While we love what version 3 will bring, Aeon Timeline 2 is still the latest officially supported release for sale.
Aeon Timeline Examples
To make things easier, anyone who buys Aeon Timeline 2* from December onwards will receive a free upgrade to version 3 when it is released.
Aeon Timeline Forums
If you purchased before this time, don’t panic. Once we have a public release date we can announce, we will review the cutoff date for free upgrades and likely set it back earlier than December.

But now that we are talking more publicly about version 3, it is important to announce at least that much to provide assurance to prospective purchasers.
What about MacOS Big Sur and Apple’s new Silicon chips?
We have received a few support questions about this recently, so to answer these questions publicly:

Aeon Timeline 2 supports both Big Sur and the new (non-Intel) Apple Silicon chips, and there are no known issues running the existing release version in either case.
